Your Local and Experienced Licensed Painting Contractor - Jim Hawk & Associates
In less than one minute, online or by phone, you can get the ball rolling.
We provide professional interior & exterior painting services for Brentwood projects. We're licensed, bonded, insured and we show up on time! Great rates and quality work for jobs as simple as a bathroom repaint, a multi-room project or a complete interior and exterior paint job. We have the experience and motivation to get it done right.
|For many homeowners, painting projects are often put off because the idea of working with contractors and the associated household disruption is about as fun as taking your vacation time to get a root canal. Lucky for you we take a lot of pride in providing a hassle-free contractor experience. We return phone calls, respond to emails and we actually have a game plan for each job so we impact your daily lives as little as possible.
There’s a lot of painters out there... You’ve got the unlicensed guy who works on the cheap at night and on YOUR weekends but never seems to quite finish or the BIG dog with the khaki pants and fancy folders who you can never get a hold of after you sign on the dotted line. Actually both outfits have some great attributes, so we took from both of them: the guy you are paying is actually doing the work and at a reasonable price and yet we also have 20+ years experience working directly for homeowners and the required contractors license and insurance to do so.
Our niche is doing a great job of providing the upside of both contractor types. Our low overhead and correlating low rates combined with our professionalism and proficiency to do the job right in a timely fashion make us the best choice. My guys and I have been working together, every day, for over a decade. I personally bid every job and I work along side my crew on every job until its 100% complete. We take great pride in what we do. We do one project at a time and focus 100% of our attention on getting your job done right, on time and on budget.
Usually new customers are referred to us by our past customers, find us online or see us working on a project in their neighborhood.
When you contact us, either directly through our website or by phone or text, we will set an appointment to meet at your home and discuss your project at a time that works well with your schedule. This usually takes 15- 30 minutes. Once I have a clear understanding of what you want done I will give you a verbal price on the spot but never ask you to decide at that moment. Don’t get your arm twisted by high pressure sales tactics from guys who require “both decision makers” to be home and want to sit at your kitchen table for so long you want to pull your own fire alarm.
If I do get the thumbs up from you after you’ve had a chance to kick it around I will send over a detailed proposal that outlines the specifics of the project, the materials we’ll use, the costs involved, how long the job will take, our availability, etc.
Once you look it over and sign, date and return the proposal to us we’ll secure your paint job on our schedule. We will communicate effectively, work out all the details and answer any questions or concerns you may have, including any color selection assistance you may need prior to our start. With the details in place and all the bases covered, when your painting project begins it will go very smooth.
We will arrive at the scheduled date and time, on time, and begin the process. Whether it is an interior or exterior paint job, we carefully move and cover any personal property in the areas we are working in such as beds and dressers or hose reels and patio furniture outside. We methodically protect all areas not being painted with a combination of plastic sheeting, tarps, masking paper and tape.
Once that's done we spend the proper amount of time to prepare the surfaces prior to painting. Each job has a different combination of needs that we will perform ranging from sanding, caulking, patching, priming, sealing, crack repairs, disassembly of fixtures and hardware, etc. all of which are included in the project cost.
Once the painting begins the transformation of making an area new again begins to take shape. Sometimes it actually looks worse before it gets better, but trust me, you’ll see! Once we have everything dialed in and looking sharp we’ll remove the masking, reassemble the hardware and fixtures, replace your furniture and other items, followed by a diligent clean up job. Voila, it’s all new again!
If you are looking for a painting contractor who you can trust, who will do the job correctly and not give you any headaches or break the bank, you’ve found the right guys.
